I’m very pleased to be able to provide a reference for CraTec and Gaius Carmichael.
CraTec was responsible for an extensive renovation of a 100 year old property I purchased
in 2014.
The buildings had various owners over the years and included a commercial
garage and a house that was also zoned commercial. I wanted the house retrofitted into an
urban tech office and the garage refurbished ready for occupancy to local artists.
I met Gaius and told him my vision and plans and he immediately went to work. Within a
few weeks, the entire main floor was removed and replaced with a flooring product new to
the market. He brought back the original trim, reused the floorboards from the demolition
to fashion a new island, installed a natural gas system and steered me clear of a new
expensive kitchen and towards a great option from IKEA. Similar results were achieved in
the garage.
There were many pivot points with the project but without any drama. Budgets were
updated and options explained. It was a seamless experience and one that I have
recommended to others.
